  • coloredP Finally I got smart enough to line them up by color.  A bit easier choosing the pencil.

These are a gift from daughter, along with 3 or is it 4 adult coloring books.  I joked about not living long enough to finish them.  They aren't like a child's coloring book that's for sure.  I can't help but wonder what mom would think of them.  She always wanted children to free hand instead of coloring books.  To her those books stifled imagination and ability.

I can remember giving our kids finger paints.  I wonder if you still wet the paper to do that.

Now as cold weather once again has returned my fingers are feeling that and if they get to bad to color I will be less than happy.

Today I am upset with myself.  We went up to the Credit Union for Wil to cash his check. I stood right there by him and watched her count out the money.  When we got home and he was trying to count it out he seemed to be having trouble and didn't like it I was standing there waiting to put it away.  I didn't want to risk him putting it some where and not remembering where it was. We are already looking for his 'gimmie' cap from Sunday.

So I come back and sit down to count it. I came up $20 short. I got the calculator and 3 times I still come up short and then got upset thinking the lady did it.  I handed him back his money and he spent about 2 hours counting and came up with the right amount.  So I picked up the $20 bills and started to count it out, oh good grief I counted those wrong!  So if you punch the numbers in the calculator how the heck did I do that wrong?  sigh.  Makes me wonder if I should be handling the finances!

By the end of this he didn't know what all the figures were he wrote down.   No we still don't know where his hat could be. So I'll just go buy him a new one. It was one I had bought him with an American Eagle on the front and he wore it all the time.  Yes he has other 'gimmie' aka ball caps.  Only one of them is nice and clean the others look worn.

  • Oh, wow, what a strong and stable woman you are. If and when I find myself in your situation, I hope I will be resilient (a trendy word these days), keep calm and carry on.

  • It is hard for you Bonnie as you are the one responsible. Easier said than done to not stress about things. You do a good job keeping everything going though.

  • @fauquet: I'm the one responsible for things being hard. I must learn to relax and not become stressed. I'm not good at that.

  • Color pencils, complicated counts and research of a hat keep busy along the day !!! :) Times are hard , Bonnie !! :)
