Note: If you do not post entries on xanga please don't ask me to friend you. So many advertisers have found a sneaky way to load up our blogs.

Did you all get this in your email? I just thought it was funny so decided to share it. Need to write in big journal then it will be break time to do my eyes.

I'm sure you found that confusing. I found out the 'sleepy sand' as we used to call it that is in your eyes in the morning is not allergies. The oil ducts are cruddy in mine. So now it is warm compresses, eye drops 4 times a day and ointment at bedtime.

There was a slight change in my right eye for prescription, but they will wait until I've cleared up the lid problem as that may be it.

Otherwise my eyes show no diabetic changes, praise God, and no macular degeneration, again thank you God.

Now I really need to schedule a hearing test. Experimenting I discovered it is my right ear that isn't picking up well.

Wil off this morning to have daughter's Camero hauled back in the shop. Wasn't long ago he had it in there to make sure it was safe for her to drive. Cars don't age any better than I do.

edit: mood rings, colors here.  I have never seen a white one. Mine sometimes is so blue to be black at a glance. They used to say you were cold if that. Black isn't listed on the link.

Michel ryc someone else made the teapot I just put it in the tag.

I agree. If you aren't going to comment forget it. But also, so many that say they are still friends here and even on facebook I no longer get their posts. Hummmm? Good for you with the eyes and hope the hearing test goes well. I sure don't hear as well as I use to and Wil hears very little and nothing can help him. We communicate very little now.....how will we communicate when he can no longer hear?

Well, I'm one of the others, as you know.  I don't find xanga "friendly" enough for my purposes.  I've been hacked often enough to be wary, and one thing I try not to do is leave my FB vulnerable.  As long as I am able to comment here and you are able to comment on my page, I figure we are okay.

(There exists a professional network that I joined years ago, and it still sends me mail.  But if I open it for details, my mailbox gets hacked.  Every time.)

I'm sharing the "mood ring" with a woman who is really pushing for an engagement ring, though she doesn't want a diamond.  She says a fake diamond would be fine.

Love the funny! I used to have a mood ring back when they first came out.

A mood ring in diamond would be more precise  and more optimistic .

RYC : Thanks for the precisions about the tea pot . I knew you were an artist Bonnie .

Love
Michel

I laughed at the mood ring joke, that was a good one. I also like your bullfrog header, it's very summery.

That is a cute email and I may have received it but I'll never know-I don't read anything except notes from family and friends.  I haven't been posting much lately.

'sleepy sand'

I had completely forgotten about 'sleepy sand' -- I used to have that when I was a kid. I can even remember when (besides Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy) I used to believe there really was a Sand Man who sprinkled magic dust to make us sleep. Why there was even proof in the sleepy sand in my eyes when I woke up. Actually, I think I still do have it some mornings, but a wake-up splash of water in the face takes care of it.

Love the piece about the ring! I have never owned a mood ring - at least not that I remember.

I am glad you are not seeing the effects of diabetes on your eyes! That really is something to be very grateful for!
