  • Nice out, what am I doing In?

I'm here to look up some recipes for hamburger as I'm tired of the 2 things I do with it. Meatloaf and goulash dish. I ordered macaroni and they only seem to have small ones. I like large macaroni. So off I went to look and got the same page with links to blocked pages. Finally found one with  a recipe and I don't have the ingredients! I don't keep taco shells on hand. It's going to take me longer to find a recipe and I know the old Betty Crocker cookbook is not going to have a quick one.

Spent time watching TV even though I couldn't find the show I wanted and Home ...forgot the last name... is reruns. Of course I dozed off for some of it. My nose is stuffy but I won't take Mucinex for it as it has been no help and I haven't gone off to get more Sudafed. Right now I'm not driving. I went to the Credit Union yesterday and came home and called the schedule person for the church.

I keep trying to figure out if I just quit driving how I will get to the credit union for cash, how I will get to PetSmart for that RX cat food. Need to research to see if I can get cat food by mail and how I will get the prescription for him renewed.  I can call the vet to send me a new Rx I imagine.

Had to cancel PT yesterday and next week I have an appt. with pain management and will have to tell nurse Practionier that the ingrown toenail knocked a day out. I could go see if I can use the peddler today.

Wil missed peddler yesterday too and is dozing on the couch at the moment.

My posting is going to get even more boring only getting out to Dr. offices. :-)

Our 62 anniv. is next Saturday. My birthday is Tues.

  • @fauquet: thank you Michel. I doubt in January he is even going to understand his own birthday.

  • HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, TODAY, BONNIE AND WILL
    Love
    Michel

  • Please, please, Bonnie - with all of the goodness in your heart and the work that you do for yourself and Wil, please don't let anything shame you. You are wonderful!

  • Thank you CC and today I ashamed of myself for not looking at the other side of Wil's loss. Perhaps I don't consider what he may be feeling instead of thinking he would have no feelings. Pieces of him come in at times.

  • Happy birthday to you,
Happy anniversary to you & Wil,
    Happy everything dear blog friend,
    Happy everything to you!

Special days are hard when one member of a couple can't really reciprocate - especially if it occurs to them so that they feel remorse over it.

I hope you get through your special days with a little spot of joy in the offing.

    Hugs to you both!

  • @fauquet: I'm trying, friends wishes have helped.

  • @BLB: Enjoy, Bonnie! :)

  • @fauquet: Thank you Michel. Bought ice cream lactose free, and choc syrup with groceries to celebrate today. And Saturday we will have pineapple upside down cake. Wil has no understanding it is my birthday so doubt Saturday he grasps Anniv.

  • @BLB: HAPPY BIRTHDAY , BONNIE.
I raise my glass of wine to your health!!( A votre santé ,in French )

  • @murisopsis: Love the sound of the recipe, I rarely use the oven. I'm afraid of it, things slide front wards and the racks are in correct. ??
Uber for my Dr. is estimated $18.75 one way, haven't checked for any where else.

  • @fauquet: oh we don't have a medical exam as far as I know. FB says this is a duplicate. well I don't seen another. Now I see it LOL

  • @fauquet: oh we don't have a medical exam as far as I know.

  • @BLB: i think with my oldiness and my various illness there is no chance I succeed at the medical exam!

  • Hi Bonnie! An early Happy Birthday wish for you and a happy Anniversary to you and Wil!! 62 years is a very long time <3 I have an easy recipe that uses ground beef - it goes by many names (tatertot casserole, hillbilly casserole) but it is browned ground beef mixed with a can of broccoli cheddar soup (condensed) which is put in a casserole dish. The beef is topped with chopped frozen broccoli and then about a cup of shredded cheese sprinkled over the broccoli. Then the top is covered by tatertots all standing up in rows. Bake about 45-50 minutes at 350F. My family loves it! Can you take an Uber or Lyft ride to the bank or to the doctor's office? They aren't very expensive and we've used them...

  • @fauquet: can you not get a new license?

  • @fauquet: It's 8:26 p.m. right at the moment.

With the neuropathy in my feet I do not trust my driving and at long lights I have to put the car in park as my back will not allow my foot on the brake for a long time.

  • Please , Bonnie, don't stop to drive . Last Marsh I lost my vallet with my driver license in it . So I cannot drive anymore . I feel I miss this and I become dependent. Janine is 83 and drive like a young people ( but with prudence).
I have to no forget your 62th anniversary next Saturday and at first your birthday next Tuesday. :) When I type tj=his it is 9h and half pm here in Amiens . What time is it in Texas ? :)
    Love
    Michel
