• The Fraud Continues

    While reading the news story this morning I noticed the sponsored area and for some reason I clicked on this. I wanted to see the 14 day warning with the free trial area.

  As it turned out this company, perhaps the same with a different name, had way at the bottom in light color terms along with an about link I think it was. So I clicked on terms and scrolled way down and saw the 14 days along with a price of $99.95 but it included some other cream.

  Now I understand why Joanna Gaines can't  file a cease and desist order.  How many different companies, or how to locate the actual people doing this?

  It is sad to me this country, OK the world is so full of frauds.  Right now I am feeling our so called leader is among them.  Whoops didn't wish to make a political comment. Unlike our 'leader' I won't stand in front of Boy Scouts and continue.

  Yesterday my friend Lisa came by to pick up some things I had for her. She is his supporter as Affordable Care Act kept her from being able to afford insurance, so each year income tax time she paid the 'fine'.  She was telling me he is not the one sending out the twitter posts. Someone is doing it for him. Probably more than someone.  I wonder if that is true?   At least unlike Joanna Gaines he could put a stop to it.

  This morning I researched cooking pinto beans in a crock pot.  Again I made a big mistake and thought I could cook that little package of beans, not remembering 1 lb. is a lot of beans. It didn't feel like a pound and was the smallest package I've ever seen.

  Well the instructions for slow cooker didn't include a ham hock or anything else.  But I put the 2 cups pre-soaked beans in my crock pot and started it.  Then as a lark I measured how many beans left. 4 cups!  I put them, ham hock some spices since I found I had no onion. Of course I had to look up what spices.  This is going to be interesting and I best find some containers to freeze beans in. Wonder if I could freeze them in zip lock baggies?  Why not?

  No one is up yet and I'm wondering if I should go to the pool or not. My back aches a lot this morning and I'm tired from yesterday's Commissary run.  That was an experience, the cart wouldn't start easily again when I stopped to pick up something.  Of course when Wil took the groceries to his basket and told me to park it I ran into another dilemma after reporting it.  The quickest way back to Wil was through the self checkout and there was a huge sign not to do that and arrows pointing all the way to the other end at the entrance.  First time that I can remember I disobeyed and an employee came right up to me. I was having difficulty walking and I told her about the cart. She assisted me to the bench down there to wait for Wil.  She did not scold me but from her size and the fact she assisted me, I stayed there.   I stood up to see where Wil was and she went whizzing to the back with the cart.

  The rest of the day it hurt to walk, today so far my legs are better and no leg cramp got me up.  Or have I forgotten since I've been up so long and fed outside birds and tossed King's toy and sprayed some weeds?
