  • Africa Dust?

2IamhereT  Started on this (click to enlarge) after I shoved Pookie back to his room. He has been a real pistol today.  I even pulled a file cabinet next to his, cleared the top and put the tray that used to be up there.  He hasn't had it since he broke his leg.  I figured I would see if he could climb back and entertain himself.  It took him awhile but he went over and was happy as long as I was standing there to talk to him.  Eventually I put him in the white cage and pushed him to the office. Slapped a cd in and he was happy for quite awhile.

I think the sinus headache is what is effecting my mood.  A tad grumpy I would say. Or perhaps inpatient is a better word.

I worked harder than usual yesterday but got the kitchen and dinning room swept and mopped.  Add that to the filling bird feeders outside in horrible humidity.  So today I had a heck of a time getting going after I walked off a leg cramp at an unGodly hour.

I've been a little impatient with Wil as I didn't realize he had already had his breakfast.  One nice thing with his slipping memory he apparently forgot it.

Yesterday I got him to hook up the insecticide spray to go around the foundation. Hope it hit the tiny ants that had found their way into Pookie's food bowl.  Has to be a nest outside.  Plus I've had to dispatch a couple big roaches this week.  As it is dry outside I suppose they are coming in for water.  I remember when we first moved here I would call some pest company immediately to spray.  Now with birds we can't do that.  One lady here called them water bugs, refused to admit she had roaches. :-) I didn't grow up with these insects, we had other things like flies and mosquitoes to deal with.

Watching him move around so slow outside I wonder if I should of asked him to do this chore as humidity is high now days.  I also went out front to show him where not to spray and in a few minutes he didn't remember so I stayed out to re-instruct him.  It took me several tries just to explain how to hook up the only hose out there that he could connect the sprayer too.  He had no memory of a few days previous that he had done it.  This morning I hauled that one hose away from the area that he can't disconnect the end from.  That was a horrible job.  Amazing how heavy a 50ft. hose can be.

This week I had to pick up an antibiotic after stopping at the lab.  If the culture comes back negative I will probably stop it.  I have had to drink a bunch of water this week.  I never know if it is the Interstitial cystitis or bacterial unless it is only a couple days, so I tried the baking soda and water that usually helps. Not this time. We had a podiatrist appt. Thur and he was an hour late so I had to make a few trips to the rest room and the lobby was full of people.  That was a tad embarrassing. (shouldn't be)

Mind just escaped... :-)   Not to much of a problem, few come by any more.

  • @fauquet: I kind of figured that as you know I'm an old lady. :-)

  • @BLB: About the photo that you show I had the impression that you wanted to joke, Bonnie. That 's why I did a little humor

  • @fauquet: Dear Michel I hope you are kidding, that is not me in that picture! Any activity around here is 10 minutes, sit 40 minutes. LOL

  • You still have a very flexible body, Bonnie, if I judge by the picture! :)
I hope this pain due to interstitial cystitis is decreasing . This explains you are a bit ilmpatient with Will .
Anyway you are hyperactive in the house and around the house . That is good .
    Love
    Michel

  • I sent you my phone number. I just keep forgetting to send you my new address lol

  • I read too just don't always comment. Bet I am like a lot of folks. More than you think stopping by to read what you have been up to. Take care.

  • OK I'll try, my life is some times screwy shall we say. lol

Hey with all the water I've had I should not have had leg cramps!

Did you send your phone # since you moved? I can't remember.

  • Hey B, I hope you're finding some way to stay cool. We're having wicked heat and humidity and I can't stand it lol. I woke up last night at, as you said, an unGodly hour, with horrible leg cramps. The county was working on the water and we didn't have water for half the day so I didn't drink much water and I think I got a bit dehydrated. Well, I didn't want to drink too much water before bed because you know how that goes. Up and down all night lol. Well, please post a little more often, will you? I do read, I just haven't had a chance to comment til today. xoxo
