This and That
A couple days ago I planned on writing after reading about the money that needs to be raised to save this battleship. Obviously I didn't get here.
One Congressman has been trying for years to get it set up where grants from the government could be used. It apparently meets the criteria. So an amendment has again been attached to a bill. They need to get the ship into dry dock to work on it. Millions of dollars.
This has been a busy week for me. An appointment with pain management Nurse Practitioner landed me on Wednesday schedule for a bilateral piriformis injection. The one needed for my back will wait awhile as we want to see if this will help me sit.
Then Tuesday daughter took off work and took us to sign Power of Attorney's. Wed. I discovered ants in Pookie's cage, as I call them piss ants. That meant Thursday a trip to Wal Mart for some ant baits plus some groceries. While I used the electric cart with my cushion under me, I felt ever seam in their floor. Of course hair conditioner was opposite the grocery section so I told Wil where I was headed. He waited in the grocery section until I got back.
I refused to pay Wal Mart what they were asking for furnace/ac filters. So the plan was go today. Wil got up at 5 a.m. sick and bedding headed to the washer. I was going to change sheets today but not at that hour. I got tossed out of bed at 1 a.m. with sinus.
So I get the bright idea that about 3 pillows needed washed too. While it is warm out the humidity isn't conducive to them drying so they each get a toss in dryer before hung out.
Once they are out of washer I pulled sandals on, grabbed some $ and headed out to a place I was told that makes those filters here and it was my AC receptionist that recommended them. I was having difficulty finding a good map. I planned on stopping nearby at Tough Shed and while there asked them. They pulled up a decent map but I missed the street and had to back track.
After getting filters the HEB grocery was right up the street and we needed some condiments. Problem the handicap spot I parked at was a bit far from their front door. Close to the Subway attached in the strip mall. LOL While in grocery I grabbed some pruning shears off the seasonal aisle. (I had trimmed our orange tree this morning with great difficulty with our pruners). Don't you like the way I think?
As I sit here I don't want to do another thing. Did get through email.
Oh, I got a letter yesterday from Billing Resolution Services. They will contact the devious Jullen people to "explain why they owe me credit". So I may end up being re-billed.
They have a certain amount of time to respond. If they don't the credit stands. Personally they gave them a long enough time and I hope that works to my benefit. Otherwise my "free trial" will have cost me $89.

@fauquet: Indeed it is hot Michel. Each month we have to change the filter during this season. I only got 5 filters. lol
The ac/filters gave you a big work to get them, Bonnie! You should be exhausted after all of this! I hope now your home is at the good temperature . Texas is hot!
Love
Michel
