Busy...little accomplished
Just finished reading this wonderful post. I made it a new link so you can drift back here as you ponder what she has to say. I hear her beef, I see her lovely background.
I have been busy learning. Learning the switch yuku made in all the groups, several of which I belong to. With tapatalk in charge I have to log into each group, then figure out what is where. Topping it off the group I'm also an administrator in, has found I'm alone as the owner just lost her mother. Without her permission I am reluctant to announce that fact to the group. I have a horrible feeling she may just want to close up shop. The original owner of Robbie's died awhile back.
At least two groups I belong to have gone on to another group on a different server and trying to figure out how to get around in that place is a trip. I finally was able to load a 'checking in' tag and found myself registered with a free account for photo's/images/tags whatever you want to call it. I tried to log into it and couldn't with the password they sent. lol
I still haven't learned to turn off all the emails that keep coming from these groups.
Prior to that I have spent hours removing my images from Photobucket. There was a big article in BBC about the trick Photobucket pulled on everyone that is even including business like Amazon. Bottom line you have to cough up $400 a year to continue using them. Amazon must of paid them because I just took a peek and their images are there.
Then I realized I didn't have my images off of Yuku so I had to find a way to get them. Which when I think about it seems kind of silly, I can make new ones. It's just that some I like and I've no time to re-do. Well I can find time but sitting has become a serious problem unless I'm in the recliner to stretch out. I have a cushion on my office chair, but I can only sit so long. Monday I have an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner where I will discuss that.
Making matters worse, Thursday while in the yard my foot slid off the Croc sandal causing me to contort my body to avoid falling. Muscle rub got a lot of use.
Add to all this I had to go pick up a prescription at the Commissary and I got Wil to go along as we needed some groceries. It seems like I can't stock enough for us and if I did menu's I might be able to. (I now carry a cushion to put on carts). We succeeded in not losing each other but he is terribly slow at the self checkout. I am off putting the cart back. Again it is important to let him use his brain while he can. His driving just seems like all old people driving, no extra speed.
Now if you will excuse me I want to go make something in Paint Shop. I've no idea what, or what I will do with it. My spider lily is blooming so I could get it off the camera.

Thanks for the news about Photobucket, those sneaky jerks. I'm downloading my photos too. What a bummer.
@fauquet: Well Michel I am not so sure just how true that is. I think there is a genetic connection with dementia.
@BLB: Yes keeping our mind busy is very good Bonnie . You are right.
Love
Michel
@fauquet: You understood well enough Michel and I sure don't think your English is poor at all.
I had been an administrator in only one group until a lady in Australia felt I could do the job for hers. We'll see. They say we should keep our minds busy to avoid dementia. I'm not so sure that is working for me. I told Wil my brain is leaking, I forget so much.
I am not sure to have well understood the all because of my poor English . It seems you have numerous acounts on the Internet like me . But for the older ones I forgot the password and so my photos remain !!
I did not know either you were an administrator in various groups . Compliments, Bonnie , even if it is heavy weight to bear at time;
Love
Michel
Mary there is no way I can afford a lap top, no plugs open around my recliner.
Bonnie with the arthritis getting worse in my back, I finally broke down and purchased a laptop. I love it, on days I can't sit at this desktop I turn to laptop and what a blessing. Laptop was purchased at Best Buy and for a great price of $249.00 You have to watch for the sales, but this one is easy to work with.
@murisopsis: I'm not terribly hopeful but if I can get her to go over the last MRI I will feel I accomplished something.
I'll have to go check out the blog you linked too. At first glance it looks interesting! I'm sure Wil appreciates feeling useful. I hope the NP can give you some suggestions to make sitting less painful. As for the confusion/frustration of having groups shift and change on you, I sympathize!!
Free resources online just don't stay free when they get popular. It's a shame and a big pain in the butt lol. If you made something today in Paint Shop, be sure and post it.
Thank you for linking my blog post! I'm honored by your support.
