First visit since Feb.
We have been unable to visit our son's grave until today. I had my camera along and you can see some of the pictures I took here. Why I hadn't planned ahead and purchased some little American flags I could have placed them while down there. This quiet little grave just struck my heart for some reason.
Apparently they have been watering of got the rain we never did. Bless Wil's heart he cleaned up under son's bench where so much debris seem to have gathered. He had forgotten his hearing aids so he couldn't hear the little wind chime in son's tree. I could barely hear it. I couldn't tell if it may have been entangled. It didn't look like it in the one picture posted.
Our last stop was to put something on the little girls grave that I worked so hard to put to rest. When Wil read her marker he asked "why was she buried 5 yrs. after she died?" It is sad that memory apparently is completely gone. He knew where her grave was, probably because I always go to it too and he has cleaned up around it in the past. I wonder if he even remembers my role in bringing her home?
Driving down the same place on the highway I had to tell him when to move over and when to exit. Yet when we got to the next exit he remembered it. Getting to lunch after we left became hard when we pulled into the area and even I missed the unmarked little road leading to 54th street. But I had to tell him how to get back to it. Then coming home again I have to tell him what lane and what exit, but once he drove on the exit he remembered that curve. It has been obvious for some time he could never drive to son's grave by himself.
I just thank God for giving me patience to speak in a gentle manner, which is easier when he has his hearing aids in.

Dear College education. I have had an online journal since 1998. Clearing my mind...it is never clear. lol
Make yourself some notes, talking points as it were, see if that helps you start.
First off I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick question that I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing. I've had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Kudos!
Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I'm thinking about creating my own but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks
Now days it is easier with blog set ups like here and Word Press. Give it a try.
@fauquet: I do post photo's here. The sky photo's are large so better posted on Flickr.
I followed a link a visited your Flick and left a comment on a photo of sky and clouds : gorgeous .
Why do not you post a photo on Xanga ?

Michel
So many times I will leave a message and forget to hit submit or whatever the page has. Heaven only knows with the internet and if we lose Net Neutrality it will get worse.
Fun? what's that? lol
I left a message yesterday but it disappeared I guess.. Just wanted to let you know I know you have your hands full. Bless your heart--this time of life just isn't fun huh?
